Each class follows four basic components (“Teach It! Practice It! Move It! Play It!”). Students pair up and practice the fencing move or concept, rotate partners and repeat; students then participate in fencing matches with fencers at their skill level. Spring sessions include an in-class tourney.
AFS, a non-profit organization sanctioned by the Department of State, is looking for families to host an exchange student for the 2021-22 school year. We have students from over 90 countries who come from all religious and socio-economic backgrounds. We accept all family types as host families.
Virtual Go Further is for female-identifying students in grades 8-10 to learn about STEM fields at Iowa State, engage in activities, and meet STEM role models. Held Tuesday, April 6-Thursday, April 8, 2021. $15 (attend unlimited sessions for 3 days). Scholarships are available.
Junior Menace is for BOYS and GIRLS, ages 3 to 9 and is designed for all ability levels. We definitely encourage beginners! This is a great program to learn basic soccer skills if your child has never played before.

The focus of each camp session is to provide strong fundamental basketball instruction and create a culture where each camper is encouraged and excited to learn and improve while having fun. Our goal is to make sure each player has a great camp experience.
This four-day tennis camp offers fun learning and playing opportunities for girls and boys ages 5-17 of all ability levels. Courts will be organized by age, ability, and experience to maximize student improvement and enjoyment. There will be multiple sessions and times available throughout June. Living History Farms’ outdoor day camp setting provides a fun and unique way for children entering kindergarten through 8th grade to experience day-to-day farm and town life as it was in the past. Kids connect to history, science, and nature through fun and engaging outdoor experiences.
