Welcome to Waukee Community Schools!

Thank you for choosing Waukee! We’re excited for your family to join our community. Now that you’re enrolled, this page will guide you through the next steps to help you and your child get ready for the school year.

District Apps

As a parent/guardian at Waukee CSD, you’ll need to create accounts for several important apps that keep you connected with your child’s education. We’ve created a list of the apps and platforms used across our District, along with helpful links to get you started.

Child Care

Waukee CSD offers two child care programs for PK-5 students:

  • Beyond the Bell (TK-5) – Offers a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Child care is available in our elementary schools before and after school, as well as no-school days and during the summer.
  • Little Learners Club (Preschool) – Provides wrap-around child care program for preschoolers enrolled at Vince Meyer Learning Center. Child care is available Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with students attending the afternoon preschool program in the same building.

School Supplies

Make sure you’re ready for school by getting all the necessary supplies! In May, elementary families have the option to purchase the next year’s school supply box through your school’s PTO, which will be delivered to their child’s classroom before Open House Night. Or, you can see your child’s list and purchase the items.
