Board of Education to Consider Approving New Elementary Boundaries
On Monday, December 17, RSP & Associates will present an updated Concept 1 Boundary Map to the Board of Education for approval. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the District Administration Office in the Board Room. If approved, elementary boundaries would be effective fall of 2019.
The updated map will include the following changes from the December 10 meeting:
- Due to capacity challenges at Brookview Elementary Schoool, Polo Club Apartments would move to Woodland Hills Elementary School.
- Areas in existing Walnut Grove west of Grand Prairie Parkway would move back to Woodland Hills.
- When elementary #10 comes online it will alleviate the crowding in Maple Grove, Waukee, and Woodland Hills Elementary School.
