FBLA success at State Leadership Conference
This past weekend, the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended their first ever State Leadership Conference in Coralville, IA. This competition had over 840 members from across the state to participate in business meetings and to compete in a wide variety of business and computer competitions. Each conference participant competed in at least three events.
The results were astounding. 13 out of the 17 competitors from Waukee won a total of 23 awards. Of these 17 students, nine qualified for Nationals in nine different events! These qualifiers have the opportunity to attend the National Leadership Conference in San Antonia, TX. (June 29-July 2)
