WHS Mock Trial Success at State

The Waukee High School Mock Trial team recently competed at the state competition sponsored by the Iowa State Bar Association. Waukee placed 7th out of over 100 teams statewide and 34 at the state tournament. This ties the highest finish ever for a Waukee team. The team won rounds against Knoxville and Des Moines Roosevelt before losing on a split ballot to the eventual state champion team from the Marion Home School Association.  In addition, senior Libby Messman was named to the All-State Team as an Outstanding Attorney.
