Three Waukee High School Students to Participate in Iowa All-State Jazz Choir

Waukee High School juniors Brenden Hinspeter and Kai Griffin were selected for the Iowa All-State Jazz Choir, and Stephen Wermager was selected as an alternate for this year’s ensemble. The ensemble is hosted by Iowa Choral Directors Association and is comprised o the top 20 Iowa vocal jazz students.

Rehearsals and the performance will take place this summer at the Iowa Choral Directors Association Summer Convention at Central College in Pella, IA. The Iowa All-State Jazz Choir is recognized as one of the top all-state jazz choirs in the country.  Congratulations to Brenden, Kai, and Stephen for representing Waukee in this year’s ensemble!
