Naming Waukee’s 10th Elementary

It is time to name our tenth elementary school, located in the southwest area of our district, north of Ashworth Road and SW of the Sugar Creek Golf Course. This is an opportunity for the public to suggest names for this new school scheduled to open in the fall of 2022.

After names have been received, members of the administrative team will vet the names through legal counsel and a recommendation will be brought forward to the Board of Education in February for approval.

A groundbreaking event will be held at a later date.
