Wauk & Talk Event Wednesday, July 1
Please join WCSD for a social equity chat this coming Wednesday, July 1st at Waukee Stadium. Bring a blanket, chair, or shoes to walk the track. We will be in small groups of 5-10.
The intention of this time together is to become more involved as active allies as we stand together to listen, learn, and amplify the voices of our students in becoming anti-racist in our schools. There will be no formal speakers at this event, however, we welcome this at future events.
Please join your classmates, neighbors, colleagues, and community members on the grass or around the track to discuss this week’s topics around mental health, discussing race, and allyship. Optional readings to discuss linked below.
