Beyond the Bell Fall Registration
As a reminder, the district continues to plan to have students physically present in school this fall and our goal is to also open before and after school childcare in the fall. We have determined new Beyond the Bell (BTB) childcare enrollment dates as follows:

- Monday, July 20 – Woodland Hills at 9 a.m.
- Tuesday, July 21 – Shuler at 9 a.m.
- Wednesday, July 22 – Grant Ragan and Radiant at 9 a.m.
- Thursday, July 23 – Walnut Hills at 9 a.m.
- Friday, July 24 – Maple Grove at 9 a.m.

About Beyond the Bell Enrollment
- Enrollment includes a $25 non-refundable enrollment fee per child per program. (If a child enrolls for 1 of the programs (AM or PM) it’s $25, if they enroll for both AM and PM it’s $50.)
- Enrollment is for the school year and will start on August 24 with August billing being mid-August and September billing being around the first day of school.
- The Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) has issued the following minimum requirements that we must follow:
- Parents will not be allowed into the building at drop-off or pick-up from Beyond the Bell.
- Children’s temperatures will be taken upon arrival with a touchless thermometer. Any temperature over 100 degrees, the child will not be allowed to enter.
- BTB will adopt and adhere to any additional requirements the Waukee Community School District will require for elementary children during the school day.
- As we have since March, we will remain flexible in responding to new information, and we will pivot when specific strategies are not working. Our strategies will be revised and adapted depending on the level of viral transmission in the school and throughout the community and done with close communication with local public health authorities. Our priority is the safety and overall health of children, staff, and communities based on available evidence.

YMCA Registration Information: The YMCA will open registration on July 20 for all three sites (Brookview, Eason, and Waukee). Participants can register online at www.dmymca.org. They will click on Y Programs, then select program registration.
