Fall Sports Kick-Off Information


The Fall Kick-Off Meeting will no longer be an in-person meeting and will be modified as follows to allow for safety and COVID precautions.

We will have one location to drop off information on August 2, 2020.

Waukee High School campus directions:

Paperwork – should have the following on the top of the physical/ concussion form:

    • School – ex. Timberline

    • Sport – ex. 9th Cross Country

    • 8th volleyball needing a $25 check made out to Waukee Community Schools with the school name in the memo.

Time frame for drop off on August 2, 2020

  • 8th grade – 5:00-6:00 p.m.

  • 9th/10th grade – 6:00-7:00 p.m.

  • 11th/12th grade – 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Requests:

    • Prefer you wear a mask during drop off

    • Bring your own writing utensil

If parents would like to eliminate contact or are unable to attend August 2, the following options are available :

1. If you’d like to drop off at WHS, please call 987-2782 to see if someone is in the office. If so, we can meet you at the East doors of the high school to take your paperwork. The doors to the building are locked, so it’s best to call ahead to make sure your time is not wasted.

2. If your athlete is in the building for pre-season conditioning, they can drop in the Activities Office (Room 242) if the door is open, or slide the paperwork under the door if it’s closed.

3. You may scan and email the paperwork to activities@waukeeschools.org **Please include the name of the sport your athlete will play in the subject of the email

4. There is a box labeled registration paperwork that is in the parking lot outside of the WCSD District Office. You may place the paperwork there and it will get to our office.

5. You can drop the paperwork in the USPS mail. Please address to:
