Return to Learn Survey for Families

Please see the survey below for families to consider two options for a Return to Learning at Waukee, in-person or online. In order for the 2020-21 school year’s decision to be a safe and informed one for all students, families, and staff, we want to make sure you have all of the information available when making this decision.

Questions have started to come in as a response to our email last night. We are working through additional answers guided by those questions. In addition, because of the real-time nature of our situation, by Friday, we will have more information for families who are, in particular, considering the online option.

That said, we are also aware that many families are ready to make this decision and by sending the survey, they can get started on completing it immediately. For those who are seeking additional information, we will continue to provide that in the coming days through the Community Town Hall as well as an FAQ, ahead of the Sunday night, July 19th, 11:59 PM deadline.

When completing the survey, if you chooseLearning online (from home) through Waukee Schools” it means you will be online full-time, and will not attend any classes or courses within Waukee Community School District. The other option indicates you are planning to attend in-person.

Students enrolled in online classes or in-person classes will not have their eligibility impacted negatively in any of our activities and athletics.

We’ll be making staffing and other decisions based on the survey. Fill out the survey once per student enrolled in Waukee Community School District.
