“Associates are the Backbone of Learning at Grant Ragan”

There are 358 associates playing crucial roles in the Waukee Community School District. One of them is Grant Ragan’s Becky Fitzgerald.

“When I walk out of here, I want to feel like I did everything possible to support growth and learning,” Fitzgerald said.

Routines, plans and schedules can change quickly for all associates, but that’s when our team is at their best.

“When you are working with students, the relationship you build with them is absolutely critical,” says Fitzgerald. “That way I can read and anticipate how they are feeling and support them in that moment.”
