Waukee School-to-Work Hosts Professional Skills Workshop
It was a day of preparing for the future. Waukee’s School-to-Work program held their annual Professional Skills Workshop on Wednesday. Students participated in mock interviews, took professional headshot photographs and networked with potential future employers.
“I knew that this was something that matter to me in the future,” says Colson Thayer, a School-to-Work senior. “Employers are going to look at this. Colleges are going to look at this. They’ve heard about Waukee’s School-to-Work program and they know these skills are going to stay forever.”
