Change Lives with Kindness – Maple Grove Students Help Iowa’s Tornado Victims

It started with a simple idea in a 5th grade classroom at Maple Grove. Now it’s an inspirational movement, gaining popularity every single day.

Cami Folsom, Sophie Bird and Rishi Ingle (5th graders at Maple Grove Elementary) have started the Change Lives with Kindness project. They are raising money to donate to communities hit by tornadoes in March. The students reached out to the Maple Grove PTO with a favor. They were hoping the money raised at their school’s Spelling Bee could be donated to families in Norwalk and Winterset.
