Waukee High School Presents “The Book of Will”

“To be, or not to be, that is the question.” Or… was that the question? We might’ve lost the manuscripts… and the promptbooks… and the sides. And William Shakespeare is dead!

Award-winning author Lauren Gunderson brings 1619 London to life in THE BOOK OF WILL. Based on the true story of two of William Shakespeare’s closest friends and fellow actors, John Heminges and Henry Condell, who work together to face the daunting task of keeping Will’s words, and legacy, alive. They seek help from family and friends, but soon learn that the best help is found in the most unlikely of places. Join them as they work to preserve Shakespeare’s legacy, no matter the cost.

Waukee Theatre Arts presents THE BOOK OF WILL by Lauren Gunderson. Performances will take place at the Waukee Theatre Arts Center (575 SE University Ave, Waukee, IA 50263) on Thursday, October 6th at 7:00 pm; Friday, October 7th at 7:00 pm; and Sunday, October 9th at 2:00 pm.
