My background is as a dietitian, and I have always been interested in nutrition and helping others.

5. If you could describe yourself with one word, what would it be and why?

Motivated. I constantly try to improve myself through experiences, education, networking, and more.

Wishing our Outgoing Director a Happy Retirement

Jeannie Allgood, our outgoing director of nutrition, is headed into retirement! Her last day is Oct. 31.

Jeannie is wrapping up her service with Waukee CSD after 25+ years. She has been instrumental in working with and leading nutrition staff, managing an operation that feeds thousands of students/staff daily, and has handled all things new kitchen construction throughout her career and during our growth.

Congratulations, Jeannie!
