Congratulations to the forty-two third grade students from Shuler Elementary who completed their book challenge! They read one book each from ten different series in a set amount of time. Shuler Elementary even had four students read one book from all sixty of the series options!
Waukee Nutrition Services hosted visitors from USDA's Midwest Region and the Iowa Department of Education on Thursday. Waukee Volleyball Team finished the season with a 35-12 record. The team battled top ranked Cedar Falls to a fifth and decisive set but fell to the Tigers in a quarter final matchup.
The Waukee Girls Swim Team scored in eight of 11 events and totaled 150 points to place fifth at the State Swim meet last Saturday in Marshalltown. Congratulations on a successful season!

20 Waukee High School students were selected for the Regional North Central/Central American Choral Directors Association Honor Choirs. These students will travel to Milwaukee in March to participate in the honor choirs, which will be comprised of students from a ten-state region!
Congratulations to the Waukee High School Cross Country teams for two great season! The Girls Cross Country finished in fourth place at the State Championship with four notable individuals.
