Due to inclement weather, Waukee CSD has canceled school for Wednesday, Feb. 12. All activities, child care, Community Education classes, and facility rentals are canceled. The District Office will be closed. Wednesday’s breakfast and lunch menu will be served on Thursday; Friday will return to the regularly scheduled meals.

Get to know Principal Prohaska
My name is Clint Prohaska and I’m proud to serve the students and staff as the Principal of Eason Elementary. At Eason, we strive to meet our district’s mission of optimizing individual learning and potential for success in a global community.
This is my eleventh year as a Waukee Community School District administrator and my ninth year as the Eason Elementary Principal. Previously, I served as a fifth-grade teacher at Eason Elementary for one year and a fourth and fifth-grade teacher in the Johnston Community School District for five years.
I enjoy working and living in Waukee. My wife is a reading lab teacher in the district and my four kids attend school in the district. We take great pride in our community and are thankful for the many opportunities and friendships that we have here.
