Get to know Principal Tierney
Welcome to Radiant Elementary! It’s an honor to serve as your principal and to be part of such a vibrant and supportive community of staff, students, and families.
With two decades of experience in education, my journey has brought me to this wonderful school, where I am thrilled to contribute to our shared success. My background spans both elementary and secondary education, with the majority of my career spent as a building principal. I am also a proud graduate of UNI, Iowa State, and Drake University, where I earned my doctoral degree.
My husband and I are residents of the Waukee CSD District, along with our two children, Kadyn and Kyle.
