Get to Know Principal Fey
Welcome to the Waterford Family and Community. I am Dr. Joel T. Fey, and I am fortunate to be the principal of Waterford Elementary.
I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Grand View University in 1995, my M.S. in Education from Drake University in 2003, and my Ed.D., Doctor of Education, from Drake University in 2022. Prior experiences included time as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, as well as a building principal. My wife Sea is a midwife in Des Moines, and we are proud parents of two children, TJ and Alli.
